ABOUT ELLEN

Ellen Nightingale, principal of Ellen Nightingale Family Law, has been a lawyer in private practice since 1981, in the province of Ontario. She received her Bachelor of Arts from York University and her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Windsor.

Ellen has over 30 years of experience assisting clients across Ontario, focusing on all aspects of family law, including separation, divorce, child custody and visitation, child support, spousal support, division of property, mediation and Collaborative Practice.

Ellen has represented clients from a broad spectrum of cultural and ethnic backgrounds. She is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Toronto Collaborative Practice Group. She is also an active volunteer in the community and offers pro bono services with local United Way agencies.
